On any threaded part, properly measuring thread lead is extremely important.

Most of the time measuring in the middle of a connector’s thread length will show an acceptable tolerance.

Inspecting at multiple locations will ensure the part is within tolerances.

For best results, we measure along the same plane at the following locations: the first full thread, the second full thread, in one inch intervals as required, and once in the last inch of the thread.
