What does this privacy policy cover?
This privacy policy describes the privacy practices of Gagemaker websites, as well as our desktop apps and mobile apps that include a link to this policy (in this policy, we refer to our desktop apps and mobile apps together as “apps”). Note that “websites” include web-based services such as web api that the desktop app’s may access.
What information does Gagemaker collect about me?
Gagemaker ID, Registration, and Customer Support
When you register to use a Gagemaker app or website, create a Gagemaker Identification (whether in an app or on a website), or contact us for support or other offerings, Gagemaker may collect information that identifies you. This includes but is not limited to information such as your name, title, address, company name, e-mail address, phone number, or payment information. In order to help keep and maintain our databases current and to provide you the most relevant content and experiences, we may combine information provided by you with information from other sources, in accordance with applicable law. For example, from these sources, we may learn about the size, industry, and other information about the company you work for.
Gagemaker Apps and Websites
We collect information about how you use our apps and websites, including when you use a desktop app feature that takes you online. We may collect information sent by your browser or device to our servers whenever you visit a Gagemaker website or use a Gagemaker app. For example, your device may tell us how frequently you use the app and the device you used. Gagemaker may collect information about how you use our websites and apps by using cookies or similar technologies, and our servers may collect similar information when you are logged in to the app or website. Depending on the app or website, this information may be anonymous or it may be associated with you.
Also, we use automated systems to analyze your content using techniques such as machine learning in order to improve our apps and websites. This analysis may occur as the content is sent or received using an online feature of a Gagemaker app or website, or when the content is stored on Gagemaker servers.
We may collect and store information (including personal information) locally on your device using mechanisms such as browser web storage (including HTML 5) and application data caches.
Gagemaker App Activation and Automatic Updates
When you activate your Gagemaker app or when you install updates to the app, we collect certain information about your device (including your IP address), the Gagemaker app itself, and your product serial number (if applicable). Some of our apps include features that connect to our servers and offer you the ability to install updates to the app. We may keep track of information such as whether the update was successful or not. We may use the information collected through activation or app updates to validate your copy of the app and confirm that it is genuine and properly licensed.
Gagemaker E-mails
Emails we send you may include a technology that tells Gagemaker whether you have received or opened the email, or clicked a link in the email.
How does Gagemaker use the information it collects about me?
Gagemaker uses the information we collect about you in a number of ways, such as:
- Providing you with the Gagemaker apps and websites for which you have registered, as well as any services, support, or information you have requested
- Better understanding how our websites and apps are being used so we can improve them while engaging and retaining users
- Using automated systems to analyze your content using techniques such as machine learning in order to improve our services. This analysis may occur as the content is sent, received, or when it is stored.
- Diagnosing problems in our apps and websites

Does Gagemaker share my personal information?
Gagemaker works with companies that help us in the course of our business. These companies provide services such as processing credit card payments and/or technical support. Is my personal information secure?
We understand that the security of your personal information is important. We provide reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security controls to protect your personal information. However, despite our efforts, no security controls are 100% effective and Gagemaker cannot ensure or warrant the security of your personal information.
Where does Gagemaker store my personal information?
Your personal information and files are stored on Gagemaker’s servers and the servers of companies we hire to provide services to us. Your personal information may be transferred across national borders because we have servers located worldwide and the companies we hire to help us run our business are located in different countries around the world.
Additionally, as previously noted,we may collect and store information (including personal information) locally on your device using mechanisms such as browser web storage (including HTML 5) and application data caches.
Will this privacy policy change?
Occasionally, we may change this privacy policy to allow Gagemaker to use or share your personal information in a different way. If we do, the links to the policy on our websites (which are generally found in the footer of the website) will indicate that the policy has been changed. For new users, the change will become effective upon posting. For existing users, if the change is significant, it will become effective 30 days after posting. We encourage you to periodically review the Gagemaker privacy statements for the latest information on our privacy practices.
