December 2016 Gage Report

Closing One Door to Open a New

What to Expect in 2017

2016 has almost come and gone. While this time of year we often look back on what we’ve accomplished during this last trip around the sun, we at Gagemaker like to still keep one eye on the future.

2017 promises to be a more innovative and productive year for us and hopefully you as well. Using customer input and new technology, we have rebooted a few of our gages to help make your job easier.

Gagemaker-MIC-360-withTablet-and-logoMost notably, the wireless MIC 360™ In-process Diameter Gage is beginning to make headlines. Also, be on the lookout for our revamped deep reach gages, the new DB-1800 deep bore ball point gage series and the DPG-6500 deep reach thread roll gage series. The TDWIN Taper™ software will be getting a real facelift with updates, new drawings, additional connections, and a whole new look.

We will also be unveiling some new gages as well as a new powerful proprietary thread calculation software to supplement our current software. In fact, on the horizon, we hope to release several new pieces of technology that will help and possibly change the way you design and inspect your threads.

Gagemaker-MRP-2000-Knob-Less-Ext Also changing the way you inspect threads, API will be releasing revised specifications in the new year. We’ve stayed on top of all the changes to help make the transition as easy as possible. Not only will Gagemaker help you figure out what you need to be in spec, but we also can provide you with all of the necessary tools and equipment.

As usual, expect to catch us at OTC in May and be on the look out for a few other events we could pop up at near you!

We’ll see you in 2017!
